Vegyn – real name Joe Thornalley – is an artist who challenges categorisation. His most recent solo projects Don't Follow Me Because I'm Lost Too!! and Text While Driving If You Want to Meet God, are mammoth exercises in creative transparency and personal momentum, shedding hundreds of tracks – in various states of creation – to the ears of his fans, an act which spurs him to continue, and transform artistically in the process.
Constantly working, Thornalley has thrown himself into longform collaborations with some of London’s most engaging underground voices, lending his singular off-kilter sound to Dean Blunt, George Riley and John Glacier, whilst also nurturing his label PLZ Make It Ruins.
